Julia Schrader was born in 1967 Duesseldorf and passed away in 2018 in Ratingen. She did her Master of Arts at the Royal College of Art in London. She used her exuberant imagination as an artistic tool. Her unconventional handling of everyday found materials (e.g. lenses, ray eggs) and her exploitation of classic artistic materials (e.g. clay, paper) form a total work of art that is fantastic in every respect.
