|Michael Wesely (born 1963) is a German art photographer based in Berlin. His body of work focuses on using photography as a time-based medium, mainly through (extremely) long exposures. The photographs mainly capture the dynamic of change. He is most known for his works on architecture (Potsdamer Platz, MoMA New York) and still lifes of (decaying) flowers. The exhibition presents a work from a rare series on musicians, thus offering a time-based interpretation on a piece of music in one picture.
