There’s no place like the tub where so many vows of friendship are being made, one‘s own body is being examined, enemies are killed or sins are washed away. Hence it’s undeniable that bathing has a complex, ever-changing social code, which I approach using various media. In over 200 collected, cyclically arranged scenes of film history from the 1950s to date, this three-channel video installation reflects on the diversity of said motif in cinematography.
